Sycamore Bread Board
Very similar to Maple, Sycamore has a ton of beautiful light sapwood in its grain. However, the heartwood has a gorgeous reddish/tan tint to it and when sanded, it has a very “Curly” appearance. When we source our sycamore, we look for interesting patterns of sapwood and heartwood to really bring out the contrast despite being just one solid piece.
This board has a slight curve at the top, a carved handle, and routed with round over edges for a smooth appearance and feel.
This particular piece is perfect for bread, cheese, & other food that requires dull knives.
