About Black Walnut Wood
Black Walnut, native to north eastern United States, ranges from light brown to a dark chocolate in color. It can even have some purple and reddish hues in the pattern itself. When coupled with it’s light tan sapwood, the beauty really stands above any other domestic hardwood (in our opinion). I’s tight grain pattern gives it a nice natural luster. Because of this, it is extremely durable and great for cutting on as it requires very minimal maintenance. It’s stability and availability, coupled with its appearance make it one of the most popular species in the United States (and also our favorite!)
For more information about how you can take care of your board, please visit our Board Care Page.
Please Note: Grain pattern and design may vary slightly between boards. Each product is unique and handcrafted. These boards are made to order, so please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery. You will receive an email when your item has shipped.
